Shakira was born on February 2, 1977 in Barranquilla, Atlantico, Colombia. She is a singer by profession. She began singing for her classmates in school, but her unique voice kept her out of the school choir. She released her 6th album in November 2006, named as "Wolf ", given her a status as one of the top-earning woman in music.
