See which stars brought home gold at the 2011 Emmy Awards.

Emmy Gold
The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards were filled with comedy, gorgeous gowns, and, of course, lots of gold statues. Check out which stars took home top honors at the big show.

1. Julie Bowen
Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series

The Modern Family star won her first Emmy (and the first award of the evening) at the big show. She joked that she was disappointed about the win, claiming she wouldn't have anything to talk about with her therapist next week. Then she thanked her onscreen hubby and her real hubby.

2. Ty Burrell
Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series

Julie Bowen's onscreen husband won the next award of the evening. He mused about how his late father would feel about him going to work every day in full makeup. What a funny bunch!

3. Michael Spiller
Directing for a Comedy Series

Michael Spiller almost took a spill on his way up to the stage, but the Modern Family director recovered and gave a delightful speech. He thanked his "modern family" and gave kudos to his
wife Melanie.

4. Jim Parsons
Lead Actor in a Comedy Series

Jim Parsons won his second consecutive Emmy for his work on The Big Bang Theory. This was
the third year in a row he's been nominated.

5. Melissa McCarthy
Lead Actress in a Comedy Series

Melissa McCarthy didn't know quite what to do when she was announced as the big winner for her role on Mike & Molly. The actress received a tiara and bouquet of roses in the pageant-style win, and she appropriately cried through her entire acceptance speech.
6. 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart'
Variety, Music, or Comedy Series

Jon Stewart and a whole bunch of writers from the show got up onstage to accept the prize. Of course, the speech was not without some good wisecracks. This is the 9th year in a row the show's won thi prize. Stewart gave a shoutout to his pal Stephen Colbert while onstage, and also thanked the Lonely Island guys for singing about sex in front of his young kids at the show.


7. 'Friday Night Lights'
Writing for a Drama Series

Friday Night Lights writer Jason Katims accepted the award, thanking all the usual suspects.

8. Margo Martindale
Supporting Actress in a Drama Series

Margo Martindale cried as she accepted her first Emmy for her role in Justified. She got to the mic and said about the honor: "Sometimes things just take time."
9. Martin Scorsese
Directing for a Drama Series

With an eye on the clock, Martin Scorsese rattled off a laundry list of thank-yous, ending with shout-outs to the series' talented actors. Thi was the Oscar-winners first Emmy.

10. Peter Dinklage
Supporting Actor in a Drama Series

Peter Dinklage of Game of Thrones couldn't quite wrap his head around winning an Emmy right after Scorsese, but he regained his composure and delivered a great speech. The highlight: He thanked his dog sitter named Kitty back in New York.

11. Julianna Margulies
Lead Actress in a Drama Series

The Good Wife actress graciously thanked the other nominees and gave a lovely speech in her shiny dress. She told her "spectacular" husband that she loves being his "good wife." And, she's glad he has no political aspirations.

12. Kyle Chandler
Lead Actor in a Drama Series

Kyle Chandler looked very surprised to hear his name called and said he was positive he wouldn't win so didn't prepare a speech. The Friday Night Lights star probably forgot to thank somebody, but managed to get a few names out before leaving the stage.
13. Maggie Smith
Supporting Actress in a Mini Series

Maggie Smith won the prize, but was unfortunately not there to collect her statue for her work in Downton Abbey. The boys of Entourage accepted on her behalf.
14. Barry Pepper
Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie

Barry Pepper wasn't present to accept his award for The Kennedys.

15. Guy Pearce
Supporting Actor in a Miniseries

Guy Pearce joked about how lucky he was to sleep with Kate Winslet in Mildred Pierce, and definitely didn't think it would lead to an Emmy win. Then he thanked his real wife Kate for enduring so much talk about Ms. Winslet. What a guy.
16. Kate Winslet
Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie

Kate Winslet won her first Emmy for her role in Mildred Pierce. "I didn't think I was going to win anything!" she said upon getting to the mic. She said she's sharing the win with her mom,
whom she will "never stop needing."

17. 'Mad Men'
Drama Series

Mad Men has won the top Drama honor for all of its four seasons. The cast piled on the stage to
support the big win.

18. 'Modern Family'
Comedy Series

The Modern Family cast came up to graciously thank all the people involved with the show -- and all the kids in the cast. "Modern Family was thisclose to being animated because we didn't want to work with kids," the director joked.
