"The Hangover" sequel is being sued … again
Oct 17th 2011, 19:17

By Sean O'Connell Hollywoodnews.com: How many people plan on suing "The Hangover Part II" before all is said and done?

First, there was a the tattoo artist who claimed that his Mike Tyson design was copyrighted, and therefore not allowed to be used in the movie (after the movie had been released). Then there is the stun man who sued after suffering serious barin damage following an automobile stunt on the set.

Now, a California man who apparently is just catching up with the summer blockbuster is suing because the plot (which was basically a carbon copy of the original "Hangover") too closely resembles his own troublesome honeymoon in Asia.

Michael Alan Rubin says Todd Phillips' movie was "stolen from a script he wrote that described his Asian adventures," THR reports, adding that Rubin is "representing himself in this case, so it’s hard to take his allegations too seriously."

“The production of Hangover 2 is not a complete ‘literary’ or ‘artistic’ works of the Hangover Defendants as credited in Hangover 2,” says the complaint. “In fact, the production of Hangover 2 was a result of infringement of the Plaintiff’s treatment ‘Mickey and Kirin’ and exploitation of the private real life of Plaintiff in an insulting manner.”

I hope Phillips has been taking notes, and that his "Hangover 3" takes place in a courtroom, where the Wolf Pack is being sued by all of the innocent people whose lives have been damaged by their reckless behaviors.
