hollywoodnews.com: Winners in the 2011 Scream Awards (presented by Spike TV) were honored on Saturday night, with the Harry Potter franchise leading the win count and receiving a special honor. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2," the final film in the franchise, came away with six awards (including the night's top honor, "The Ultimate Scream"), and was recognized with a tribute to the entire series that included Daniel Radcliffe and Ralph Feinnes.
Other notable awards went to "Super 8" (Best Science Fiction Movie), "Let Me In" (Best Horror Movie), "X-Men: First Class" (Best Fantasy Movie), "Game of Thrones" (Best TV Show), "Monsters" (Best Independent Movie), Peter Dinklage of "Game of Thrones" (Best Supporting Actor), Darren Aronofsky (Best Director – "Black Swan"), and "The Dark Knight Rises" (Most Anticipated Film).
The awards taped at Universal Studios in Los Angeles and premieres on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 18 (9:00PM EST/PST) with simulcasts on VH1 and VH1 Classic.
