She steals the show in a double dose of riveting pictures out this year, and now Carey Mulligan is getting some well-deserved recognition for all of her hard work.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Pride & Prejudice" actress, who lends her acting chops to highly-buzzed about films "Shame" and "Drive," will claim the 2011 Hollywood Actress Award statuette at the 15th annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Film Awards.
Additionally, Elle Fanning, Shailine Woodley, Anton Yelchin, Jean Dukardin, Amber Heard and Bérénice Bejo will also be awarded for their theatrical efforts, as they have been named this year's recipients of the Hollywood Spotlight Award.
Set to take place at the Beverly Hilton on October 24th, the event's founder, Carlos de Abreu, told THR, "It is a privilege to honor Carey Mulligan, Bérénice Bejo, Jean Dujardin, Elle Fanning, Amber Heard, Andrea Riseborough, Shaileen Woodley and Anton Yelchin for their great talent."
