Dr. Conrad Murray: Michael Jackson Didn't Orally Self-Administer Propofol Oct 12th 2011, 21:42 Up to this point, one of his main defense strategies was to convince the jury that Michael Jackson had orally self-administered a lethal dose of propofol. But earlier today, Dr. Conrad Murray and his defense team opted to abandon that claim during the courtroom proceedings. Murray's lawyer Michael Flanagan announced that they'd found an independent study that concluded that swallowing the anesthetic wouldn't be fatal. Instead, lead lawyer Ed Chernoff asserted that the Late King Of Pop had instead injected himself with propofol after waking up and feeling restless.
