Lea Michele's Week-Ending Retail Therapy Oct 8th 2011, 00:18 Closing out the work week with a bout of retail therapy, Lea Michele was all smiles as she trekked through Beverly Hills on Friday afternoon (October 7). The Rachel Berry babe offered up a wave and a smile as she headed to Barneys New York, tweeting along the way, "Works done! Now time to start the weekend! Mani Pedi and shopping I think..? :)" The outing comes as Miss Michele recently spoke with InStyle about her unwillingness to take fashion advice from "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy. She dished, "Ryan Murphy had told me, 'Don't wear black. You should never wear black. So my stylist pulled floral, beautiful colors. As I'm walking to the bathroom to try them on, I see the Oscar [de la Renta] dress hanging up in her closet. I said 'I'm wearing that.' And I called Ryan, and said 'Ryan, I'm wearing black!'" Not taking Lea's decision to go against his tips to heart, Murphy said, "When I met Lea, she was only sort of interested in clothes- but in the last two years she's become a red-carpet star. I think what happened is Lea went to an event, and someone said, 'Oh, you look pretty.' It was an interesting moment for her."
