Rihanna Breaks from UK Tour for Barbadian Funeral Service Oct 8th 2011, 22:12 Breaking from her UK tour efforts to pay respects to a loved one, Rihanna flew into her homeland of Barbados early Saturday morning (October 8) to attend a funeral service. The 23-year-old singer was dressed in an all-black ensemble as she joined friends and family including her mother, Monica Fenty, for the farewell ceremony. While it has yet to be confirmed as to who's burial service Rihanna was attending, it is thought that the pop superstar was saying goodbye to 103-year-old Barbadian resident Germaine Louise Springer. Meanwhile, the "Umbrella" singer is expected to fly back to the UK by tomorrow to resume her performances with a scheduled show at Manchester's MEN Arena on Sunday night (October 9).
