By Sean O'Connell Hollywoodnews.com: The work-in-progress picture from a "masterful" filmmaker that will screen tonight at the New York Film Festival will be Martin Scorsese's "Hugo," a childlike fantasy that will be the Oscar-winning director's first foray into 3D storytelling.
And with the screening comes an increase in the film's marketing push ahead of the Thanksgiving weekend release.
Paramount Pictures has released a behind-the-scenes trailer, which you can see right HERE.
And reactions likely are expected to hit Twitter right after tonight's East Coast screening. At the very least, I’m curious to see what Scorsese can do with 3D. The whimsical story might not be a contender for the major Oscar categories, but I can see “Hugo” sweeping the technical categories (or, at least, competing with Spielberg’s “Tintin,” which opens later this year). We'll bring you more on "Hugo" as it develops, but the buzz around Scorsese's next starts right now.
