hollywoodnews.com: After a tumultuous week that required two 911 calls and an emergency landing, Rick ross canceled his Saturday night show in Greensboro due to health issues. Ross' own camp did not immediately comment on the nature of the rapper's health troubles, though TMZ chimed in with reports that the rapper's unspecified "incidents" involved seizures.
The first health came scare on Friday, when Ross was en route from Fort Lauderdale to Memphis on a Delta flight—said flight turned around and landed Ross back in Fort Lauderdale, where he was treated, and subsequently tweeted, "Memphis, here I come!" However, a private jet to Memphis was diverted yet again (to Alabama, this time) after Ross reported yet another medical problem.
Josh Pastner, a basketball coach involved in the University of Memphis basketball team event that Ross was scheduled to play, commented: “On his way to Memphis, he had to make another emergency landing, in Birmingham. He got really sick again, and they had to rush him to the emergency room.”
Though the venue for tonight's concert in Greensboro insisted (as recently as this morning) that the rapper would play his show, they later revised their statement, saying that Ross would not appear.
Ross is behind such singles as "Hustlin'," "Aston Martin Music," and "Blowin' Money Fast." His albums include "Teflon Don" and "Trilla."
