Newlywed Paul McCartney Announces Tour Plans Oct 10th 2011, 22:54 Having just tied the knot over the weekend, Sir Paul McCartney has just announced plans to hit the road for a tour. The "Let It Be" singer will be setting off next month for scheduled performances in his hometown of Liverpool and London, along with dates in Europe, Russia and Abu Dhabi. "Playing live is one of the most exciting parts of my job," the singer said in a statement announcing the tour. "My audiences seem to get better each year and the band and I love the buzz and feedback they give us." The news comes just a day after 69-year-old Paul married Nancy Shevell at Marylebone Registry office in London with guests such as Ringo Starr, Ronnie Wood and musician Jools Holland in attendance.
